Call sheets are designed to reference other project data, so before you build a call sheet, it will work best if you have at least some of your people, cast, crew, locations, and scenes already created. But if you don’t have that data created yet, it's okay: you can add the data as you go.
To create a call sheet, click on the “call sheets” tab in the left sidebar menu.
You should be taken to your most recent shooting schedule. If you have not already created a schedule, see this article about how to create a shooting schedule: http://help.setheroapp.com/knowledge_base/topics/create-a-new-schedule
On your schedule, click the “+ Add Call Sheet” button on the day you would like to add a call sheet to.
This will open a dialog box where you can select a call time and a wrap time. Set the times as desired and click “Create”.
Once the call sheet is created, you’ll be taken to the main call sheet page. This is the central view where your call sheet is created. In the left section of the screen, you can edit info about the call sheet and in the right portion of the screen, you'll see a live preview of the call sheet you’re building. The icons on the navy blue bar at the top of the left section allow you to tab between sections, such as scenes, cast, notes, and precalls.
Now you can go through each tab and customize the information to match your shoot. You can download a watermarked prelim PDF of the current call sheet by clicking on the “Download Prelim PDF” text in the header.
Once the call sheet settings are how you want them, you can move to the publish step to choose your sharing preferences before sending it to your team.
Tip: Don’t forget that you can flip the call sheet over by clicking on the blue “rotate” icon on the top left of the call sheet preview. You can also make the call sheet preview full screen by clicking the “expand” icon at the top right of the preview window.
